We’re delighted to share that Luis Cruz Azaceta is the 2023 recipient of the Ogden Museum of Southern Arts’ Opus Award!

The award is bestowed to individuals who have made significant contributions to the vibrant and complex fabric of American Southern art. Past recipients include Sally Mann and George Dunbar. Azaceta, who was born in Havana, Cuba, was the subject of a major retrospective at the Ogden last year. The award will be presented on October 21 at the museum’s annual “O What a Night” gala. Please join us in congratulating Luis!
