Bay Area Now 9 is the ninth iteration of the Yerba Buena Center for the Art’s (YBCA) triennial exhibition highlighting artists working throughout the Bay Area’s nine counties. The curatorial staff considered over one hundred artists and conducted dozens of studio visits under the advisory of YBCA’s inaugural Curatorial Counsel. Craig is one of thirty artists selected to participate and Summoners features the elaborate patterning and mixed materials that characterize their tapestries.
