New Large Scale Paintings
and an Installation

During the month of April, the George Adams Gallery will show new works by Sandy Winters. The exhibition will feature a new series of large-scale drawings on hollow core door panels, and a wall-size mural installation measuring 11x21 feet worked on multiple 4x8 foot sheets of plywood.

The  works on door panels consist are polyptychs measuring 7 1/2 feet high by as much as 12 feet long. They are worked primarily in conte crayon directly on the wood or on sheets of black or white paper attached to the surface. The installation covers 8 plywood sheets, 4x8 feet each.
