New Sculpture and Drawings (Drawing Gallery)
Apr 1 - May 31, 1992

Robert Arneson is showing a group of new works in The Drawing Gallery at Frumkin/Adams Gallery during April and May. The works consist of a number of ceramic wall masks- all multiple self-images- as well as a free standing ceramic self-portrait and a number of self-portrait drawings in conte crayon. The mood of these works alternates between narcissism and self-mockery and represents another turn in Arneson's long history of self-portraiture.

The exhibition is accompanied by a large poster of one of the ceramic wall masks in the exhibition called, The French Connection.

The Frumkin/Adams Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday 10 to 6 and Saturdays 10 to 5:30.
