Recent Paintings of Maine

Oct 23 - Dec 27, 2008

On view in the Drawing Gallery is an exhibition of landscape paintings by Andrew Lenaghan.  The exhibition consists of 12 oil paintings on panel made this past summer during a residency provided by Richard Estes in Northeast Harbor, Maine.  Working from life, and in a radical departure from his usual urban views, Lenaghan painted the craggy coastline and rocky, tree-lined lakes of nearby Acadia National Park.
