Works on Paper

Mar 4 - Mar 30, 1978

During March the Frumkin Gallery will show a variety of works on paper by Gallery artists. While not all the gallery's artists are represented, all the works are very recent and have not been previously exhibited.

Robert Hudson will show a group of large collage-drawings heavily worked with acrylic which are a further development of his thinking on paper. Robert Arneson will show two new studies for major ceramic sculptures not yet executed, while Roy DeForest will offer further thoughts on the animal kingdom in his new drawings.

Philip Pearlstein will show the two large watercolors he did in Peru this winter; one from the ruins at Cuzco, the other an aerial view of Machu Pichu. Robert Barnes will show new gouaches which continue the cycle of Shelley and Byron's adventures he showed last season. In addition, both William T. Wiley and Joan Brown will show new works on paper which will indicated the direction of their work, since they will not show in New York this season.

The works on paper exhibition will open on March 4th and run through the 30th of the month. The gallery hours are 10 to 6, Tuesday through Friday; 11 to 5 on Saturday.
